Jaw couplings provide a cost-effective solution for standard power applications, cushioning moderate shock loads and dampening low vibration levels. Vitually maintenance-free and easy to install, jaw couplings are available with a ?snap wrap? element, allowing element replacement in situ. Urethane inserts have a greater power rating than nitrile elements and are recommended for applications where a compact, high torque solution is required. A complete jaw coupling consists of 2 hubs and 1 insert.
