V-ring seals (V-rings) are all-rubber, axial shaft seals. They offer an easy-to-install solution for rotating shaft applications, including use as a secondary seal in highly contaminated environments. The VE design has the largest cross section of the V-ring designs and permits the largest axial displacements. VE seals are commonly used as secondary seals for heavy-duty applications where the primary seal has to be protected against water and solid contaminants.
